More support for flood affected tourism businesses

Tourism businesses in the Mid Murray significantly impacted by the flood can now apply for new grants to boost tourism opportunities and help drive visitation and expenditure in the region.

If you are a sole trader or small tourism business located primarily in the Mid Murray Council region that experienced financial loss as a result of the 2022-23 Murray River flood, you can now apply for grants worth $5,000 up to $50,000 under the Mid Murray River Tourism Business Support Program.

It’s designed to boost tourism and support infrastructure projects that will enable businesses to return to full operations, upskill staff, support marketing activities and funding for events.

Applications close 5pm ACST Friday 24 November 2023.
