Let’s talk about small business insurance

Business insurance is an investment in your company’s future. Having the relevant insurance in place allows business owners to protect their operations in case anything goes wrong – from property damage or personal injury, to a cyberattack.

If you’d like to join a discussion about business insurance, a series of in-person and online sessions are running from August to October 2023.

Sessions are delivered by Resilient Ready with the support of the Government of South Australia, across metropolitan and regional South Australia and will cover topics including types of business insurance, affordability, underinsurance, brokers and responsibilities.

About the sessions

Each session will be delivered in two rounds.

The first round will invite participants to submit anonymous answers to questions about your insurance experiences. Feedback collected will inform the micro-learning modules which will be presented back to the group in round two.

When are sessions being held?

  • Adelaide Hills: 23 August and 26 October
  • Kangaroo Island: 29 August and 12 October
  • Port Augusta: 7 September and 11 October
  • Barossa Valley: 19 September and 24 October
  • Adelaide: 20 September and 25 October
  • Riverland (Berri): 21 September and 18 October
  • Port Lincoln: 26 September and 19 October
  • Port Lincoln: 26 September and 19 October

What if I can’t attend a community session or online event?

Small businesses who are unable to attend a community session or join an online event are encouraged to complete a survey to ensure their specific insurance concerns are heard and addressed.
