Financial mentoring for SA wine businesses

Small and family-owned grape and wine businesses can now access confidential, one-on-one financial mentoring to support clearer decision-making and long-term planning.

Through the Small Business Fundamentals Program, the South Australian Wine Industry Association (SAWIA) is offering tailored mentoring sessions in partnership with Bentleys SA, an advisory firm with extensive experience working with wine and regional businesses. Sessions will be held progressively across regions, with places limited.

The mentoring helps businesses understand their financial position, identify pressures and opportunities, and plan for the future.

What the mentoring involves:

  • Part 1 – Financial clarity (45 mins)
Understand financial reports, key performance indicators and the drivers influencing performance.
  • Part 2 – Tailored business guidance (1.5 hrs)
Receive in-depth mentoring based on your business position, using your financial information to guide decisions on cash flow, budgeting and operations.

Normally valued at more than $1,000, these sessions are available for $100 + GST through the Small Business Fundamentals Program.
