CJM Electrical Services – Small Employer of the Year winner

Congratulations to CJM Electrical Services, winner of the Small Employer of the Year Award at the South Australian Training Awards, held last month.

Presented by the South Australian Skills Commission, the South Australian Training Awards are the state’s most prestigious awards program for vocational education and training (VET), celebrating the remarkable achievements of students, apprentices, training providers, schools, and employers.

CJM Electrical Services (CJM) specialises in the installation and commissioning of HVAC systems for commercial and industrial buildings. Central to its success is its strong company culture, which emphasises training and internal promotion, fostering employee loyalty.

Of the 18 full-time employees, 44% are currently engaged in training programs. The majority are pursuing a Certificate III in Electrotechnology, while the office manager is working toward a Diploma of Business.

The Small Employer of the Year Award recognises a small enterprise that has excelled in providing nationally recognised and innovative training for its employees, including apprentices.
