Applications are now open for the 2025 Fearless Innovators Grant, supporting South Australia's women-led businesses to grow with confidence.
Funded by from the Department of State Development's Research Innovation Fund and delivered in partnership with Women in Innovation (WINN) and the Fearless Females Network (FFN), the Fearless Innovators Grant is designed to back innovative businesses that are at least 50% female-owned and ready to accelerate or scale.
Supporting South Australia's women-led businesses to grow with confidence, grants are available there are three funding streams available:
- Accelerate Grant (up to $10,000)
- Scale-Up (up to $30,000),
- WestPac Grant (up to $20,000)
The grants provide practical support for women entrepreneurs to expand their impact locally, nationally, and globally.
This initiative responds to the persistent funding gap experienced by female founders, who continue to receive a disproportionately small share of early-stage capital. The Fearless Innovators Grant aims to help close that gap by supporting bold ideas and business growth.
To be eligible, businesses must:
Be registered in South Australia
Have at least 50% female ownership
Be registered before 1 January 2024
Have evidence of market traction and a documented growth strategy
Applications are now open and close at 11:59pm ACST on Sunday, 8 June 2025.
Successful recipients will be announced at an exclusive awards night in September 2025.
